Customer Service Representative /Portland Maine office


JOB ACTIVITIES: Supporting role in our customer service department. Various support of all job aspects relative to providing outstanding customer service learning job estimates/ proposals from customer requests and follow up on estimates written by technicians. Follow up calls to customers on how we did performing their work. Taking calls from our customers and generating service tickets and scheduling with the customers. Also duties as assigned by Service Manager supporting the department operations. Some warehouse support functions receiving and unloading material. Requires ability to locate and pull customer jobs material in warehouse setting and ability to lift various heavy objects within that function. Ability to sell doors & operators and various equipment to include over the counter sales when needed. Some forklift functions as needed, various light building maintenance jobs as needed.

Warehouse/Customer Service- Portland Maine


We have a great opportunity for the right person. The position is our Warehouse /Customer Service associate at our Portland Maine location. Previous warehouse and customer service experience a plus, along with prior experience with power tools, cutting torches and fabrication skills are all a large part of this job. This position manages the flow of products in and out of the warehouse and controlling quality control of products shipped & received. Job duties require gathering materials and job parts for the next day’s crew work for all the crew trucks. The position is responsible for completing physical inventories to include whole job components and replacement parts. Great housekeeping methods are a must. We have various shop fabrication work orders that need to be done daily with deadlines. This position uses forklift , and various material handling equipment which is necessary unloading and loading some of our products. Position also requires a lot of lifting a variety of materials some light, some heavy. There are counter sales and service requirements along with parts requests and phone /walk in clients. Computer experience is necessary for maintaining products in and out of inventory. Maintains ongoing housekeeping outside our property is also one area of responsibility which includes picking up trash & debris daily, shoveling snow and putting down traction control and ice melting products for our parking lot and building entrances. Some snow blowing and general building maintenance as needed. Driver’s license is required, delivery of products to customers and job sites when needed. This position is also a backup person to step in when needed to be an assistant on a crew truck, also may fill in for customer service department team members during absences or vacations.

The CSE participates in Home Shows, Vendor training, after work seminars, Industry associated membership functions, & networking opportunities.
